Matching of the continuous gravitational wave in an all sky search

چکیده
We investigate the matching of the continuous gravitational wave in an all sky search in reference to the Earth based laser interferometric detectors. We consider the source location as the parameters of the signal manifold and templates corresponding to different source locations. For fixed source frequency fo, under the transformation θT → π − θT ; 0 ≤ θT ≤ π, we found that the matching of the signals is almost same for arbitrary observation time Tobs and φ (celestial longitude), where θT are the templates in θ (celestial colatitude) space. Though insignificant, we observed variation in the matching of signals for different θ, detector positions and orientations. However, this insignificant mismatch scales with fo. Consequently, matching of the signals fall with fo. In φ space, under the transformations φT → π − φT ; 0 ≤ φT ≤ π and φT → 3π − φT ; π ≤ φT ≤ 2π, we found that the matching of the signals fall with Tobs, fo, θ and φ, where φT are the templates in φ space.

Data analysis of continuous gravitational wave: All sky search and study of templates Abstract We have studied the problem of all sky search in reference to continuous gravita-tional wave particularly for such sources whose wave-form are known in advance. We have made an analysis of the number of templates required for matched filter analysis as applicable to these sources. We have employed the...
متن کاملGravitational Search Algorithm to Solve the K-of-N Lifetime Problem in Two-Tiered WSNs
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are networks of autonomous nodes used for monitoring an environment. In designing WSNs, one of the main issues is limited energy source for each sensor node. Hence, offering ways to optimize energy consumption in WSNs which eventually increases the network lifetime is strongly felt. Gravitational Search Algorithm (GSA) is a novel stochastic population-based meta-...
متن کاملA Decision between Bayesian and Frequentist Upper Limit in Analyzing Continuous Gravitational Waves
Given the sensitivity of current ground-based Gravitational Wave (GW) detectors, any continuous-wave signal we can realistically expect will be at a level or below the background noise. Hence, any data analysis of detector data will need to rely on statistical techniques to separate the signal from the noise. While with the current sensitivity of our detectors we do not expect to detect any tru...
متن کاملOptimality of the flexible job shop scheduling system based on Gravitational Search Algorithm
The Flexible Job Shop Scheduling Problem (FJSP) is one of the most general and difficult of all traditional scheduling problems. The Flexible Job Shop Problem (FJSP) is an extension of the classical job shop scheduling problem which allows an operation to be processed by any machine from a given set. The problem is to assign each operation to a machine and to order the operations on the machine...
